The pulpits are silent on the Booze issue. They do not want to be confrontational. So many members sip a little wine. Just a social drink or two. Search the Scriptures: Proverb:20:1: Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
Proverb:23:31: Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.
For you “Theologians” that have gone to college and are now puffed up, Proverbs 23:31 is clearly talking about “fermented wine”.
