Franklin Graham seems to favor maturation rather than regeneration in his defense of the President Donald Trump. I am not trying to malign Mr. Graham. But when a prominent representative of the Christian faith makes these kinds of statements someone needs to expose the errors, and it should be with love, and the Word of God. So below are the statements Mr. Graham made and the answer from God’s Word, the King James Bible.

President Donald Trump is a “changed person” he says.

John 3:3: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

“This happened 11, 12, 13, 14 years ago,” he said. “And so, I think there is a big difference and not that we give anybody a pass, but we have to look at the timeline and that was before he was in office.”

What! There is no statue of limitations regarding sin. Regarding a timeline, here is what God says:
2 Corinthians 6:2: For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Graham argued that the President has matured over the years. “There is a lot of presidents that have had rough language and a lot of these things that have been accused of the President, I am not sure are true,”

“he talks a certain way” to get his point across. Graham pointed out that Trump has “offended” people, but asserted that God had put him in the White House for a reason.

Romans 3:14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness

Franklin Graham says:
“I believe Donald Trump is a good man,” he said. “He did everything wrong as a candidate and he won, and I don’t understand it. Other than I think God put him there.”

Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

Franklin Graham on President Trump’s first year in office: “Look at the economy, it has come up and its benefiting all of us. …

Luke 12:16 – 21 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

President Donald Trump to my knowledge has not made any statement or declaration that he has trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior. He has said that he is a Presbyterian, and that is as middle of the road as you can get.

Revelation 3:15 – 16 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth
