The Christian Workers Society is a Christian organization “a society” of Christians who’s main purpose is the advancement of the Christian Faith by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the building up by Scripture, Christians, thoroughly furnished unto all good works, and to support the local church.
We believe that the Christian is individually responsible to God. Over time we think that this concept of individualism has been diminished, and or largely forgotten. There is little individual bible reading, prayer, and as a result, few souls are saved, Christians are apathetic, and the local church is struggling to maintain its’ purpose and direction.
How do we change this? How do we excite ourselves to this work? By using the prescribed method ordained by God, His Word! The Scriptures (KJV) are profitable, they will give us everything we need to be furnished unto every good work.
What does The Christian Workers Society do? We help in providing exhortation, in making available some of the resources that will encourage us to be workers for Christ. Most of these ideas, methods, and helps will be gleamed from other sources both past and present. One such resource is “How To Work For Christ” by R.A. Torrey. If you can acquire a copy do so it will be a blessing. We have a limited number of reprints that we will have available for free to those workers that have formed a good framework within their area for reaching the lost.
Of course the best resource is the Bible. We encourage every Christian to read the Bible in the Spirit. Pray before, asking God to illuminate some portion that you may need or use in your individual service to God. We have posted a suggested resolution that you may find helpful.
Christian Workers Society has a special exhibit titled “Back To The Bible” The Preservation and Providence of the Bible to America. This exhibit chronicles the movement of God’s Word from the Far East, through Europe, and to the Americas. The exhibit will include original Bible leafs, Bibles, a replica of the Gutenberg Press, and many other items with proofs. The exhibit is free of charge. If you or your church, organization, or group would like to have more information, please use the contact form on this site.
We hope you will consider joining us for the cause of Christ and His Gospel. Every problem you will ever encounter in this sin sick word is the result of sin. We have have the solution, the salvation of men by the Gospel. You and I have a duty, we are debtors to all men, woe unto us if we preach not the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“I am a creature of a day. I am a spirit come from God, and returning to God. I want to know one thing: the way to heaven. God himself has condescended to teach me the way. He has written it down in a book. Oh, give me that book! At any price give me the book of God. Let me be a man of one book.”–John Wesley
Thousands of Christians are seeking the truth, and the power of God in their lives. We long for the joy of salvation that we once had when first we came to Jesus Christ. We move from church to church, grow apathetic in the pew, we wonder if unbelievers are singing the same hymns on Sunday, and in some churches we hear the same salvation message preached week after week to the members who already profess salvation. I am for the preaching of the Gospel, and a call to the lost, but that can be incorporated in the plain preaching of the Bible.
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10: 24-25
We are told that no church can be perfect because the people in the church are not perfect. That sets a standard that is not supported by Scripture. Do not misunderstand me I am not talking about sinless perfection. I am saying that we are called to a high standard. I want to be the best Christian I can be, what about you?
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5: 48
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. I Peter 1:16
I want to be exhorted unto good works. I want to hear sin called sin. I want to hear that Scripture that is doctrine, reproof, instruction in righteousness so I can be fitted unto all good works. We hear of a thousand self help books but scarcely a word preached on the rotten whiskey, wine and beer trade, the sinful movies and television, the lottery and gambling.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: II Timothy 3:16
Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Isaiah 58:1

To This End:
Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, winning the lost, and have them baptized, and taught to follow Christ at a good Bible believing church. The Christian Workers Society working together whenever possible with the local church to assist in reaching that local community with the Gospel.
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew:28:18-20
The Christian Workers Society is not just “another ministry”. It is really a revival of past ministries that used basic biblical principals long forgotten by the present day church. From the earliest of times, John the Baptist preaching in the wilderness, the first persecution.
Acts:8:4: Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
Consider Wycliffe and his lay preachers, Bunyan preaching in the open air, Spurgeon, Whitfield, Wesley, Finney and others. Thousands of conversions, and revivals followed. The Word of God must be taken to the lost. We are debtors to the lost of this world. And like them the one and only end is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Revival in America
Why, because we need a revival.
If we need revival, it is our duty to have one.
If it is our duty we can, by the grace of God, and with the promise of God, have one.
We need a revival in every Christian for the Preaching of the Gospel, and the good news to the lost and dying.
We need a revival of the individual Christian, so we can serve God by publishing the Gospel throughout this America!
We need to return to our first love. We need to remember the first and greatest commandment is to love God, and the second is like unto it, love thy neighbor. Nothing can change our sin sick America but the Gospel! Join us in setting out now to be a servant of God. Join me in a revival, for America, to please God. Be sure to check the “Resources” section in the main menu, and read the posts for additional encouragements. Please, send us your comments, and thoughts. If you have never led anyone to the Lord don’t worry. With God’s help you can. Don’t let your denomination get in the way. The Christian Workers Society believes that Salvation is a free gift and is by faith and faith alone. We are not open to debate or other views or opinions. We reject any works based salvation in any form.
