Salvation by Works?

WARNING: False teaching about sanctification is an evil cloak used to teach that works are a part of salvation, or that your works will keep you saved.

They will tell you that if you are truly saved you will want to be sanctified, and do good things. They start to mix in teachings about holding out to the end, slipping away, and some go as far to say you can reach a state of sinless perfection.

Here is the acid test. There are two basic religious faiths. Christianity is by faith alone in Jesus Christ, and all the others include some form of works.

Do not be deceived. There is no teaching in the Bible that says you have to be sanctified to be saved or to stayed saved.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. I Corinthians 6: 9-11

Ye are WASHED!… but ye are SANCTIFIED!… ye are JUSTIFIED! In the name of our Lord Jesus. Not by some denomination, or by some false teaching.

To those who say I am not preaching in brotherly love consider the preaching of the Apostle Paul. I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1: 6-9
